Presbyopia Treatment in Tempe

Are you over 40? Struggle to read fine print?

What is Presbyopia?

Presbyopia is an age-related vision condition that causes near objects to appear blurry. It typically starts in a person’s 40’s, when the lens of the eye begins to stiffen and lose flexibility. This makes it difficult to focus on nearby objects.

Presbyopia can significantly impact your quality of life. Regular daily activities like reading books, instruction manuals and food labels, scrolling through your phone, threading a needle and other close-up tasks can become daunting.

The good news is, with the help of AEG Vision, this common vision condition can be effectively managed, so you won’t have to compromise on your quality of life.

    • Bifocal contact lenses: different sections for reading and distance prescriptions
    • Monovision contact lenses: distance prescription in one eye and reading prescription in the other eye

Last year, I got my new pair of Ray Ban eye glasses here at 20/20 Eye Center in Tempe, and honestly ... I thought I would never say such a thing about a visit at an eye doctor office, but it was the greatest experience! Paola who helped me was very professional and informative as she answered all of my questions that I had! She even went out of her way to pick out and recommend the glasses that I wear now, and I love them! They are lucky to have her if she’s even still there. Also, Dr. Siegel was a standout Optometrist. He was willing to take his time to get everything right and make me feel seen. I could tell that he truly enjoys being an Optometrist! All in all, I highly recommend going to this office if you want a more family-friendly environment and a pleasant experience!
